Dr. Angie Chaney is originally from Athens, Alabama. After earning a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from the University of North Alabama, she taught for a brief period. She then decided to return to school to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Angie attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and graduated in 1999. She received her three years of residency training there as well. Upon completion of her residency in Jackson, Mississippi, she began practicing pediatrics in Fort Payne in 2002 at Isbell Medical Group. She is married to Chad Chaney and has 3 children — Ciana (6), Maggie (4) and Isaiah (3). She loves traveling with her family.
Haley Dalton was born and raised in Geraldine, Alabama. After graduating high school in 2005, she received her ADN from Northeast Alabama Community College. Working as a full-time registered nurse, she has provided labor and delivery, nursery, and pediatric care to patients at Dekalb Regional Medical center from 2008 until present. She continued her education and graduated with her BSN in 2009 from Jacksonville State University, where she finished with honors (Magna Cum Laude). In 2010, she continued her education to obtain her MSN. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. Haley is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She joined the Isbell Medical Group Ob/Gyn in October 2012.
Heather Miller was born and raised in Henagar, Alabama. She is a Pisgah High School alumni. She received her BSN from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2015. Heather started her nursing career in the labor and delivery unit at Dekalb Regional Medical Center where she provided care for antepartum patients, laboring mothers, postpartum and newborn care, gynecological patients, and pediatric patients. She worked fulltime there while going back to school to obtain her MSN. Heather graduated from The University of Alabama in Huntsville with her MSN and is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Isbell Medical Group OBGYN in March 2022.
NeKeshia Byrum was born and raised in Fyffe, Alabama. After graduating high school in 2005, she received her ADN from Northeast Alabama Community College, where she finished with Phi Theta Kappa honors. Working as a full-time registered nurse, she provided labor and delivery, nursery, and pediatric care to patients at DeKalb Regional Medical Center from 2007 - 2013. She continued her education and graduated with her BSN in 2008 from The University of Alabama in Huntsville finishing with Magna Cum Laude honors. In 2011, she decided to return to school and obtain her MSN. She graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. NeKeshia is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Isbell Medical Group Pediatrics in March 2013.
Dr. Kristopher Weemes is originally from Battle Creek, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University where he first studied to become a pharmacist but soon discovered a passion for science and medicine and for forming the human connection with patients. He went on to receive his medical degree from College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State. Dr. Weemes completed his residency in 2015 at McLaren-Macomb Medical Center in Mount Clemens, Michigan where he was co-chief resident. He was employed by McLaren Medical Group Women’s Health before joining Isbell Medical Group in 2019. Dr. Weemes loves spending time with his wife Magen and their son Nicholas.
Dr. Patrick Chargot grew up in Romeo, Michigan. After graduating from Michigan State University and finishing medical school at Pacific Northwest University in Washington State, Dr. Chargot completed his residency training as chief resident at McLaren Macomb Medical Center in Mount Clemens, Michigan. He joined Isbell Medical Group in September of 2023. Growing up in with a large family in a small-town farming area of Michigan, Dr. Chargot loves the similar Dekalb County and surrounding areas of Alabama. He and Katie, along with their dog and cats, enjoy spending time outdoors and have fallen in love with the beauty of North Alabama.
Rhonda Grimes was born and raised in Sand Rock, Alabama. After graduating from Sand Rock High School, she obtained her BSN at Jacksonville State University in 1995. Then, Rhonda spent her career as a registered nurse working in local hospitals which included 20 years at DeKalb Regional Medical Center on the Women and Children's Unit. In 2018 she continued her education at Chamberlain College of Nursing and graduated in 2020 with honors (Magna Cum Laude) with a MSN. Rhonda is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She joined the Isbell Medical Group Pediatrics in June 2020.
